Fontane Bianche Beach

Fontane Bianche is the fine-sand beach most loved by the people of Syracuse, about fifteen kilometres south of the city. The sea has shallow water and a pale colour, the sand is golden.

Behind it spreads a small seaside resort with beach clubs, bars and restaurants. It is very busy in summer, but the seafront still has quiet stretches.

It is a good base for anyone visiting Syracuse who wants some sea close to the city.
