Palazzo Mirto is a Palermitan noble palace left almost intact, with original furnishings, mirrors and paintings. The Lanza Filangeri family, princes of Mirto, lived here until the 20th century.
Today it is a regional museum, part of the Palazzo Abatellis system: you visit the reception rooms, the studies and the bedrooms. Among the objects are also period carriages and everyday furnishings.
The visit gives an idea of how the nobles lived in Palermo, far from the art museums and the great churches. It is in the Kalsa, a few steps from Palazzo Abatellis.
