Sciacca is a seaside town on a cliff, with a still-working fishing port and a historic centre of alleys, churches and palaces. It has been known since antiquity for its thermal waters.
Among its most curious monuments is Palazzo Steripinto, with its diamond-point façade, built in 1501. The town is also known for hand-painted ceramics and for the Carnival with its great papier-mâché floats.
The port, with its colourful boats and fish restaurants, is the best place for a break; from the viewpoints you take in the coast.
